Mission Statement

We are looking for young men and women who can represent San Clemente High School both as excellent cheerleaders and as excellent role models for the student body. The San Clemente Cheer Team is determined to support all San Clemente athletics and promote school spirit, reach out to the community through active participation, and promote good sportsmanship. In addition, the San Clemente philosophy dictates that the development of leadership skills, self-discipline, and positive relationships through mutual respect, trust and teamwork is equally important as competitions, performances, and sideline support.

• Develop strong leaders who are dedicated, hardworking and responsible

• Support and encourage other cheerleaders and fellow students

• Membership is NOT designed to be self-serving, but rather a service to peers, parents, school and community
